  • Xenforo Cloud is upgrading us to version 2.3.11 on Monday July 20, 2026 at 12:00 AM PST. Expect a temporary downtime during this process. More info here
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
It was never about winning if its not Dallas
He wants attention. He outgrew us as a market.

He hasn’t really dealt much with the negative side though, it’s been gold medals and trophies. No one is posting his address online or threatening his family like some players in large markets have dealt with.

His address is public.

I got bored a year or so a go and went on an auditor website search out of curiosity. Most of the young guys don't own anything, and the established guys with families are in the New Albany country club area.

We aren’t Toronto.

There is a difference between being able to look up an address in a county auditor site and a fan posting it online on twitter after a playoff loss in Toronto.

I live within walking distance and occasionally walk through their neighborhood when I want a longer walk ...its easy to find if you know where to look haha

Elvis and his partner I am shocked hasn't caused an accident on Thompson the way they both drive

You say that, but all it takes is one crazy person.

I'm in Avs fan, live here in Columbus, and listen to SDPN because outside of their 30 second clips for rage bait I like what they put out. Toronto as a city did not go after Marners house, a few absolute certifiably crazy people did. I do think it's less likely to end up that way here but the last week he seems to be checking every box he can to create the potential for that situation.

Curious to see if his camp puts out any kind of statement to try to calm things down.

Yeah we drive through there sometimes on the way back from my wife's sister's house. No idea which one is his or even what part of the neighborhood, but I'm always reminded of it each time.

what in the world is going on. hahahaa

per elliotte.

First, Werenski himself: The most important thing is that cooler heads prevail. One rumour making the rounds Tuesday night is that Werenski’s camp is so upset at recent developments that all trade possibilities will be rejected. (I absolutely believe that’s part of what happened with Dallas.) But that might be short-term hot-headedness, as opposed to realistic long-term outcome. We’ll see.

I don’t think Toronto will fool around. The Maple Leafs will step up and take their swing. (Werenski and wife Odette’s roots are not difficult travel to Toronto, which is believed to be a reason he’d consider the Maple Leafs.) I’d be very curious to see what Tampa offers. If Florida wants to trade a legitimate player from its roster, the Panthers could be a player, too.

so the Dallas deal may not be completely off after all? If the hard headedness is part of the reason he wouldn’t wave; maybe some time away will do it some good, and he reconsiders and goes to Dallas later in the summer.

elliotte suggested florida possibly. that’s a new name that I have yet to hear.

drum up some proposals from zito’s squad.

what are we thinking?
