Right, and he has... oh, 5 goals this year? Hmm, interesting. Guess he can score.

Just laughable. No blame for Bouchard completely f***ing up the play, just blame the goalie on literally every goal that's scored on him. How on Earth could he possibly have scored from...

..Oh, the slot.

Bro.

You see how all of the Sens attempts are from the outside?

JFC what more do you want from the defense? That graph is a coaches dream.

Natural Stat Trick does a pretty good job.

Any attempt that's 2 or higher is a scoring chance. 3 or higher is a high danger scoring chance. The other numbers are based on league average shooting from that position, this changes slightly year over year.

So for example - the Tkachuk change that was blocked by Kulak would be assigned a value of 3+1+1-1 = 4 based on location + Rebound + time since last event, and then being blocked.

It never had a chance to beat Skinner, but it's still a HDSC and it still counts when calculating expected goals.

Thank you. It really annoys me when stats or analytical stats are posted and someone goes there that proves something. The key to analytical stats is not just posting the final results but explaining how they got there

Bouchard was ass there.

Difference is Bouchard bested Makar's modern record for Best playoffs by a defenseman last year and Skinner set a record for lowest save percentage ever recorded in a series victory since the NHL started recording save percentages.

One guy gets and deserves some rope - the other doesn't.
Difference is Bouchard makes supreme f***ups like that on a regular basis. HFOil was screaming for accountability on that gaffe.

You know how I know Skinner had a good game? GMOfOilers is nowhere to be seen.

I didn't say the Oilers had a bad game, but you and Drive are roasting Skinner for the single goal he allowed. It's utterly ridiculous.

The Oilers both defended well overall, and the goal wasnt Skinner's fault.

Both can be true.

Skinner played good.
I’m in this camp. I always hate when people don’t blame a goalie at all for letting in a breakaway because it’s literally the goalie vs. the player. However really hard to knock the goalie when he only let 1 goal in and it was on a breakaway.

I wasn't even roasting Skinner. I was just saying he had a real easy night. I was roasting Debrusk and Michaels quite a lot. Its that kind of telecast.

I was also roasting the Sens a lot. Deservedly so.

Other teams clear the puck frequently An d score empty net goals… we don’t moron. I know it was 6 on 5 . The point is over head
I love how you have the maturity of a 12 year old.

Just block anyone with a different opinion or call people idiots whenever you feel like it.

What he said wasnt wrong.

We cleared it multiple times on the 6on5.

Glad to see Arvidsson do something with the opportunity given to him tonight. Our top six has been set in stone for quite a while and I don't think a little shake up here and there is the worst thing. There's a few guys who aren't really producing at a top six level in those spots.

I guess as long as we keep winning it doesn't really matter too much.

Great win Oilers.

Seems like tonight was coal in the stocking for Skinner haters.

It's so wild to me watching "fans" get upset over Skinner having a good game. The need to constantly bend reality to try to paint him in a bad light isn't healthy.

There have been players that I don't like on the Oilers over the years but I've never once been upset when they play well. The team winning is the most important thing to me. Skinner is playing well. People should just enjoy it.

Were you guys forced to watch the TSN feed? FFS. Give me Singh any day over that lady doing the game. She was not good. Tsn has a weird game sound too compared to S.N. Homer Sens bent to boot.

I like Ardvidson with McDavid and Hyman. They should give him a few more games to settle in. What's up with Nuge? Sick or hurt?

They care more about having their opinion and feelings validated than they actually care about the team winning. It’s messed up. They same type of posters who will hate on and stalk other posters simply because they hope a player (maybe one who’s struggling) turns their game around…as if an Oiler player, playing well, is a bad thing somehow.

These clowns wouldn't be happy with a Vezina winner unless he allowed 0GA the whole season

We have a team that almost won the cup last year and are an absolute wagon again this year and it’s always the same clowns who just want to nitpick and focus on whatever negative they can grasp.

When the team wins they are absolute ghost, when the team loses, they’ll run up a 50 page thread crying about things.
