Rangers can't score goals. Shot blockers just deflect pucks past Lundqvist.

This system sucks and is terrible to watch game after game.

While I like tortorella, it seems his time here should be over. The players are playing scared of making a mistake, and when that happens they lose creativity. The power play being atrocious for over three years now is another reason he should go. This team has too much talent to be in the bottom of the league on the PP. And his stubbornness about changing is another reason for him to go.

The 6 goalie defense also has to go. By dropping back so deep it enables the opposition to keep the puck in their zone tiring out the ranger defense.

Chris Botta @ChrisBottaNHL
From @KennyAlbert on NYR Radio, Ryan McDonough's shift was 3:04 when he cleared puck over glass before Caps' GW PP goal.

the entire offensive strategy this game was to go behind the net and try to wrap it around/jam it in. That will never work. they have to exert way too much effort to generate any sort of offensive chances. There is no chemistry, skill, or flow to the offense at all. Are the players a part of the problem? yes. but they aren't THIS bad.

Agree they aren't this bad offensively

I'm done with John Tortorella. It's the same struggle every year. We get the best offensive player in FA or trade and we still struggle to score. The coaches are a detriment to the team.

whatever happened to Torts' "safe is death" mentality? hes got the guns more so than he did when he got here, so why cant we get out of this defensive first, offensively stifled system?

The only answer I have is that Lundqvist masks both a really inept team and an equally inept coach.

It's time for Tortorella to go.

I was born a Rangers fan and I will die a Rangers fan but many times over the past few seasons I have had a hard time watching the Rangers play. You can switch channels to another game and it's almost like Rangers are the only team who play a different style of hockey. It's very ugly and annoying.

1. Dump and chase

2. 6 Goalie system that leaves us stuck in our zone on a 5 on 5 that looks like a PK.

3. Horrible PP even though we have talent to at least be midpack in the league, if not better, but we are almost last.

4. Overworking and tiring out players.

5. Not playing people according to their talents but forcing everyone to play a certain style regardless of what they're good at, and if they don't they get punished.

I can keep going on and on but Tortorella is ridiculous and it's time for him to go.

I am just sick of Torts (). His demeanor, his style, his stubbornness. I am praying for the day he gets fired. Rangers need a change, and his position should be the first one.

It was the same with Renney.

As far as goal-scoring: yes, it is the same as it was with Renney. But as far as play in our own zone: it is far worse under Tortorella. I don't remember Renney's teams having this much trouble gaining possession in our own zone and orchestrating a clean break-out.

False.

This team is entirely structured the same way when they first signed aborik. Nothing much has really changed.

Fire Torts please. It sucks because I know it won't happen in the summer. I am just sick of him. Don't get me wrong he is a good coach, he is just a type of coach a rebuilding team needs to take that next step. You don't win cups dumping and chasing.

This is basically how he feel He gets out coached pretty much every game by rookie coaches included. Half the goals Hank lets in goes off 1 of our players or he can't see it. IDK why hes so afraid to let Hank see and stop the shot.
