Rangers can't score goals. Shot blockers just deflect pucks past Lundqvist.
This system sucks and is terrible to watch game after game.

From @KennyAlbert on NYR Radio, Ryan McDonough's shift was 3:04 when he cleared puck over glass before Caps' GW PP goal.
the entire offensive strategy this game was to go behind the net and try to wrap it around/jam it in. That will never work. they have to exert way too much effort to generate any sort of offensive chances. There is no chemistry, skill, or flow to the offense at all. Are the players a part of the problem? yes. but they aren't THIS bad.
I'm done with John Tortorella. It's the same struggle every year. We get the best offensive player in FA or trade and we still struggle to score. The coaches are a detriment to the team.
It was the same with Renney.
But it's the players fault....
23 guys vs 1 man.
that is inexcusable...a ****ing 3 minute shift! that is insane.
It was the same with Renney.
whatever happened to Torts' "safe is death" mentality? hes got the guns more so than he did when he got here, so why cant we get out of this defensive first, offensively stifled system?
It's time for Tortorella to go.
I was born a Rangers fan and I will die a Rangers fan but many times over the past few seasons I have had a hard time watching the Rangers play. You can switch channels to another game and it's almost like Rangers are the only team who play a different style of hockey. It's very ugly and annoying.
1. Dump and chase
2. 6 Goalie system that leaves us stuck in our zone on a 5 on 5 that looks like a PK.
3. Horrible PP even though we have talent to at least be midpack in the league, if not better, but we are almost last.
4. Overworking and tiring out players.
5. Not playing people according to their talents but forcing everyone to play a certain style regardless of what they're good at, and if they don't they get punished.
I can keep going on and on but Tortorella is ridiculous and it's time for him to go.
