Right but atleast he can actually wrestle and it is seemingly going to play into a storyline going forward with it looking like he will turn heel and the match will be awesome. Plus Sanada is an absolute nobody to NA audiences. This is the introduction, so why would AEW want someone like Moxley or a legit top guy in the company laying down for him right now? Both companies picked someone they were comfortable taking the pin in the main title matches. They just went opposite ends of the spectrum, JB is young and on the way up and Tana is old and washed. I just don't see how one is completely fine while the other is somehow "disrespectful" to the NJPW belt lol
i dunno. i don't see Ricky, Juice or Jay White on this card. you know more abou NJPW than i do, so i assume you'd say Jay couldn't take the pin, so why not Juice?
Perry can wrestle and hell, he could be a star if he wanted to; but he doesn't. i'm tired of seeing TK push a guy that clearly doesn't care while there's plenty of people in catering that disappear for weeks at a time

Tanahashi should change his nickname from “Ace” to “Spot Starter” after that Swerve match. Swerve was running laps around him in there.

I mean objectively JB is like way higher up the card then Juice is. Juice is just in the beginning stages of kind of finding his role inside the company, and I am a fan of him. The only other thing I think they could have done is do a multi man match if they wanted to up the star power a bit and still protect the star you don't want pinned. I generally do prefer the singles matches though.

After last night's Collision show CM Punk took a jab at the Maple Leafs. 
Pretty excited for FD soon, I think it's going to be a great show. However...
Not looking forward to MJF trying to carry Tanahashi into a decent match. Swerve couldn't do it last night and I think Swerve is the much better in ring performer between the two. Hopefully I'm wrong, loved Tanahashi for many many years, but he needs to consider hanging it up.
Not looking forward to Sanada v Jungle Boy. Jungle boy sucks (obviously that's just, like, my opinion man so don't get offended). Admittedly I haven't seen a ton of Sanada so I'm not super familiar.... but they should have had a better opponent for him. I think Sanada's championship should have demanded it. People are making comparisons between this match and MJF match in that each promotion has someone that can take the pin so nobody loses their belt.... but at least Tanahashi has history and star power, JB does not.
Willow is so boring in ring. Love Toni, but that match may be a smoke break.
Mixed feelings with Jerichos match. On paper, it's not very exciting. But Sammy may be a wild card and Naito is there so, who knows.
Everything else should be fantastic. Obviously kenny v will and Danielson v Okada are what I'm looking forward to. I'd buy the PPV just for these two matches.

Trent B needs to get away from best friends, roppongi vice (sp), and Chaos. I don't think he's anything more than a good mid carder... but even so he's being held down. Gates of Agony look like they should be running roughshod through the tag team division. Swerve is Swerve ... he and Lethal might be the most underappreciated guys in AEW for quite a while
Lol... cool. Good to know that Billie Starkz graduated high school with a 4.16 GPA. Athena better demolish this kid

They are working this match really well around Tana's limitations. It has been really good.
