You probably think John Cena and Roman Reigns are great too.Nope, he doesn't.
How is Dynamite super goofy with no regard to kayfabe? Not watching live, but sort of related I saw someone speculate that Dynamite and Collision could be a PWG vs ROH type of deal where Saturdays are more down to earth, keeping kayfabe type of wrestling show, where as Dynamite remains super goofy with no regard for kayfabe
Yeah, because those guys are SO similar to L.A. Knight. You probably think John Cena and Roman Reigns are great too.
Not really what I said but his lack of wrestling skill is pretty similar.Yeah, because those guys are SO similar to L.A. Knight.
F*** outta here with that lack of knowledge.
I mean it isn't a big name but it kind of works out well for both companies and it will be an awesome match. It is also likely 3 matches down the card regardless of who you put up against Sanada. Sanada is mostly a complete unknown to NA audiences, he has been beating down younger opponents lately. They seem to be teasing a heel turn with JB with him needing a title this year and coming up short each time. They will put on one hell of a match and it will work booking wise coming out of the match for both companies/wrestlers as JB can progress the heel turn and Sanada can gain a foothold in North America that he doesn't have right now.Not really what I said but his lack of wrestling skill is pretty similar.
Jungle Boy challenging Sanada is very underwhelming imo. The IWGP World Champion should be facing a bigger name.
Curious - who are some of your favourite wrestlers? You probably think John Cena and Roman Reigns are great too.
Past - Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Ricky Steamboat, Brian Pillman, Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, VaderCurious - who are some of your favourite wrestlers?
A byproduct of Jay White’s early booking: Juice Robinson looks like a star. He does the wild man gimmick well. The way he screams “Ricky” (not in this promo) makes me laugh every time.
Good points. I do think it'll be a good match.I mean it isn't a big name but it kind of works out well for both companies and it will be an awesome match. TK had his media call today. Two things that stood out to me is he said he has had conversations with Goldberg about coming to AEW and that the idea of Collision on Saturday night came right down from the top of WBD with him saying Zaslav pitched it.
Forbidden Door looking good.
Did not expect Punk/Kojima to be a match on the card. I feel like that's the most random match, but it could be fun. I only know Kojima with his match against Mox at All Out and I thought it was really good.
Roddy/Joe first round matchup in the Owen Cup :O
Supposedly it sounds like it might be the opener.Forbidden Door might be an 8 hr show by the time it's done
Hopefully Punk's match is fairly early and he can go home to keep him out of the media scrum
Goldberg seems really popular in Toronto and it will be cool if he makes an appearance. I don't think a one match appearance would be bad as long as he loses. As a performer - no thank you. Also, he doesn't strike me as being a wealth of knowledge that could mentor any talent who seeks to hear the thoughts of former wrestler. I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time, maybe he would be an asset behind the scenes. Going back to the first point, there is no need for Goldberg to wrestle in 2023 for any point in the future, especially in AEW.
