AEW All Elite Wrestling #9: Mox Aggressor Brings the Blood

I am not surprised even a little bit. First time into the market, etc.
 
Apparently Double or Nothing has only sold 69% of the seats. I think build has been pretty poor overall so its not hard to see why.

The pillars match, and The hangman, BCC, Elite builds in particular have been kind of confusing. I also think the pillars aren't really main event draws (yet?)

Hopefully that can get some momentum back this summer with some (potentially) killer shows coming up

They should've ended the pillars feud on Dynamite a month ago and had MJF move on to a real main event program imo.

Is the title match even going to be the main event? BCC/Elite seems like the real program, but that’s going to lead to a blood and guts match on TV

I honestly just think they need to move around their top shows and not have them be locked in to a particular city. Double or Nothing isn't new and exciting to Vegas anymore. If they were running a yearly show in London they probably aren't selling 70 thousand seats to All In lol

Yeah having All Out at Chicago every year and DoN in Vegas every year just dampens the novelty of it for those cities. Especially when that's 2 of their 5 big shows a year.

More things like Toronto getting FB Door instead. That crowd will be molten hot.
 
I was thinking of going to All Out but I'm just not familiar enough with NJPW to warrant the cost and decided against it. May make a spur of the moment purchase the day of the show.
 
Do they drug test in AEW? Watching the Black-Andrade match from an NXT takeover years back and they are both noticeably more jacked now

Edit: Brody King is in the front row of the crowd. AEW everywhere in that Takeover match

The reason those shows are where they are is because they anticipate travel there on those weekends.
 
A lot of rumours about a new deal with WBD being announced next week with the PPV's moving onto the new streaming platform. 1 billion is the number being thrown around.
 
He's a pro. He went on a long run-on sentence while they were doing the "Edge was better" chant then ended it on a note so the chant became boos. I'm confident if they weren't doing that chant he would have paused between some of the comments.
