There has to be a screwy finish in the main event to set up a triple threat and then eventually fatal 4 way.

Gotta say this episode is kinda weird.

They can still get there but I’m not sure why they wouldn’t do a 4 way with the pillars for the title.

Then hangman not making the save was odd too unless they are going with the story where Don Callis is trying to come between Kenny and hangman.

The group promo to start the show made all 3 challengers look like, in the words of Bryan Danielson, amateurs. The crowd didn’t appear to be feeling it either. The title build overall feels off to me, probably due to a lack of starpower.

The crowd was on their feet for almost the entire promo...I didn't care for it personally, but it was over live...

I thought the opening promo was good. All 3 have come along way on the mic. They will get better with more time to talk.

It just didn't make sense for a face to celebrate getting a bye in this 3-man tournament. Allin's whole schtick is being the underdog who has to fight for everything he gets in the business so unless he is turning then his reaction was the exact opposite of what it should have been. Now if Guevara had gotten the bye then this type of reaction would have been perfect.

Really I didn’t think that was a big deal. Why can’t a Face be happy they got a bye?

Anyone else think Wheeler Yuta looks way out of place in the BCC?

He just doesn't have the killer look that i think they want the group to have.

I think the idea is that he's the slimey, little shit of the group. He's supposed to be a step below the other guys. I think they're leaning into that with how Shibata schooled him at the ROH PPV.

I'm not buying "Vicious blood-thirsty heel" Bryan Danielson either.

The group to me always felt like an extension of Moxley's character.

I can buy that because it works with hos ring style.

But I would have liked to see him stay face for a while longer. He's already turned 3 times in less than 2 years in AEW.
I feel like heel Bryan and face Bryan are basically the same person except for the physical actions and who he’s facing off with. He’s just awesome all the time and the supposedly heely things he may say the fans love anyway. Does that make sense? Or did I just say basically nothing?

They screwed up when they turned him face joining the BBC, he was killing it as a heel stomping guys heads in
He had just come back from rehab so they didn’t want to do that knowing no one would boo him. It would’ve looked pretty dumb. They were fortunate because they needed him later on when the shitshow took off backstage.
