The more I think about it, the more I want the Bruins to build the team for the 2019 and 2020 seasons. Trade Krug for a forward with term, hope one of the prospects on LD is ready for 2019, trade Backes next year, use the money to bring in a 2nd/3rd line center, sign Chara for 1 more year, and by that time players like Pastrnak, Heinen, Debrusk, Carlo, McAvoy, Donato, etc should be even better.

Kessel is exactly what I'd like to see the Habs do....
Big cap hit for several more years and he'll be past his prime well before they are anywhere near becoming a legit contender (if that ever even happens).

Senyshyn's time may be later in the season, if he has a good start in Providence, and there are some injuries, but Senyshyn's time would be best served in a Top 6, all around role for Providence.

The only similarities is that they’re both bigger and can skate. That’s where he comparisons seem to end.
That's the player that he was compared to in his draft year the the player Senyshyn said he models his game after.

Kreider — whose game Senyshyn often compares his own to — is able to jump out of a pool on to the deck from a standing position with no use of his hands.

“I saw Chris Kreider do it on YouTube, and I’ve always been a pretty explosive kid and it was something my buddies showed me one day in the summer,” Senyshyn said. “It took me a couple goes. I was a little bit nervous off the first one, but it didn’t take me too long.

Not directed at you. I just don’t always agree with throwing talent away for guys that get paid more, specially when they’ve been lazy there whole career.
I for one hope they don’t rush anything. Bjork hasn’t even shown us all his tools the kid has mad skill, Heinen has been underrated even tho he still puts up solid numbers with line juggles.
If we look at a trade it better be more for the long run, not for a guy on his way out of his prime.

To start, I hope I eat crow until I'm 280 pounds. But.......all this heinen debrusk donato JFK frederick bjork talk to me is insane when we think we are in our window! We're legit banking on 4-5 of our top 9 being rookies/sophomores.
Like I said I hope I'm wrong and the kids progess nicely but I just don't see putting that much faith in kids will make us a true contender.
Take 1-2 of them + Krug and grab a bonified top 6Rw please
