DS mentioned that would like to address lw position. Do you think he might revisit Gabriel Landy again??
yes, think the grunt work done at/near the deadline

I still say no to Carlo/McAvoy being sent to Colorado. I'd also like to see us move out some salary before making a big splash for the top 6 or it's going to be really uncomfortable. Both Beleskey and Hayes would have to be moved out/buried somehow and one of McQuaid/KMiller/CMiller to be picked up by the Knights in the expansion draft.
Marchand -- Bergeron -- Bjork
Landeskog -- Krejci -- Pasta
DeBrusk -- Backes -- Nash
Blidh -- Kuraly -- Acciari
13th forward: Schaller
Krug -- Carlo
Chara -- McAvoy
Morrow -- KMiller
7th dman: O'Gara
Rask
Doby
I think that's cap compliant but I didn't check. Again, assuming we can somehow get out of ( mostly ) of the Beleskey/Hayes contracts and that Vatrano/CMiller are part of a deal to the Avs, it might work. I don't think it's realistic though.
Every team left in these playoffs has an enforcer rolling a regular shift on the 4th line. The Bruins need one.
Reaves & Kassian can play on my team any day of the week. Wish the Bruins still carried a guy up front that's part psycho.
They do and he plays on their first line.
Name them.
Nashville carries two: Watson and McLeod
St. Louis: Reaves
Anaheim: Boll
Edmonton: Kassian
Washington: Wilson
New York: Glass
I guarantee we will see Chris Neil make his debut today for the Senators after Glass thoroughly dominated their entire squad.
So who does that leave Pittsburgh?
Toronto's going to soon be the team to beat and they consistently dress Martin (Whose had a monster influence on the youth).
Reaves and Glass I'll give you. Wilson and Kassian both have 20 point seasons recently and bring more than just the fighting. Boll however averaged under 6 minutes, only played 51 games and isnt dressing in the playoffs. He dressed for game 2 against Edmonton and played a staggering 4 minutes. That isnt a regular shift.
Bringing more than fighting doesn't mean they are not enforcers.
NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I. — The Bruins have numerous holes in their lineup. One is at left wing. This summer, general manager Don Sweeney will have various methods at his disposal to plug the holes. He could make a trade. He could go the expensive free agency route.
But there are a couple of young players in Providence who surely hope Sweeney finds his guy — or guys — in-house. And right now, they’re putting their best feet forward toward earning a good, long look in training camp.
Jake DeBrusk and Danton Heinen followed up strong debut pro seasons with good first-round playoff performances for the AHL Bruins. They both get more chances to impress the Bruins brass when they open a best-of-seven series against the Hershey Bears tomorrow.
