easily close to .8-.9 ppg guy if he ever got pp1 time. I know that's not gonna happen so it is what it is.

Laf could have had 4 or 5 points tonight.

He is looking like a difference maker out there on every shift.

Making hard seam passes on the tape from all over the ice. Sometimes when it doesn’t look like it’s possible. Sneaky reads leading to takeaways and chances.

His zone entries have been very noticeable. He’s reading the play so well and easily creating space for himself and his teammates. it’s bordering on elite 5on5

It looks like everything is clicked in to another level. And he’s doing everything with purpose and a (dare I say it) gliding speed and pace.

it just looks like he’s figured it out. This is the closest he’s looked to his junior days, at least that’s what my eyes are seeing.

Absolutely f***ing awesome to see given where he was at 2 months ago

I am often unable to watch live games on TV...
So I am curious to find out how hes looked in the last few games in which he was held pointless. Is there a general consistency in his level of play? or is it somewhat in line with his point production; somewhat up and down.

If you guys want to laugh hard away to the main boards Laf thread. This kid gets so much hate.
isn't this it ?

He’s doing great. Even the pointless games he’s moving his feet and hands better than last year, skating with his head up and making good passes and not afraid to shoot. Even though he didn’t score a goal tonight he’s still had good votes from the crowd here.

To think we tried to reunite Panarin with Kane when we had the answer in our own rooms all along….
IMO the Kane and Tarasenko acquisitions were unnecessary and pretty much an indirect FU to LAF and KAKKO.

Kid is making a difference every single night.Even when he doesn't score,he's making things happen. He wants the puck on his stick all the time and making confident plays with it.It's amazing what a little confidence can do for a young kid...and Lavi and staff deserve a lot of credit for the kids turnaround

It's got nothing to do with Laf, it's because those whiny shitbirds have more ego than hockey knowledge and have now locked themselves into a dumdum take and can't get out. So like true f***tards they just keep doubling down and becoming larger and larger targets for ridicule and punking.

The fact that he hasn't been invisible pretty much at all this year is amazing compared to last year and as recently as the playoffs.

Love that he's getting points, more impressed with him that he's not a passenger on his line

Laviolette must have gotten through to him over the summer or in camp. Or it could be that he's maturing and was embarrassed with his first three years.

The offense that he was drafted for is now starting to shine through and his confidence is rising.

While I am not expecting PP1, I'd like to see him be a little more assertive with Gus on PP2 now that Fox is back.

Lafreniere, Chytil (when he is back) Wheeler along with Gus and Key should make up a competent 2nd unit.

Happy for the kid as I'm sure, as most young players do, he's read the clippings the last 2-3 years.

Keep up the good work kid.
