From bust to elite in a few days. Lol. Not sure which is more ridiculous.
the bust part obviously. From bust to elite in a few days. Lol. Not sure which is more ridiculous.
Been waiting for him to bust that outThat shot really was disgusting
Should we start a thread for next year's 1OA in advance?
Been waiting for him to bust that out
I did. And I just did again, so correction: Only one Devil player. Goes off Kulikov's stick, changes speed and direction. It's cool if you don't see it broMight wanna check the replay it was a clean shot
This is a horrible take.Nothing about his game looks elite. Just solid at everything. Lacks a dynamic component to his game that a player like Stutzle has. Physically not much to grow either.
Very interesting how this player turns out.
As a Bruins fan, I thought he was a lot more noticeable last night then he was the the previous games. Seems he is improving. I thought he looked quite fast
Fox and Miller look great though (which pains me to say). There is a significant flaw in the rangers coaching/FO.
Our 1OA is underwhelming in his first season.
Our 2OA is having less productive second season than his first.
Our 7OA broke and we had to separate from him
Our 9OA ran away back to home
Our 22OA defensemen had a good start, but the longer he is exposed to this org, he worse he is getting.
There has to be some kind of radiation leak under MSG.
Yeah he's definitely been playing more confident of late, and has been much better with keeping his feet moving. I bet he finishes with a stronger 2nd half end breaks 20 points in the shortened season.
That said, even in his "good" games he doesn't really look that special. I know people will say it's early, but I think it's time to start lowering expectations. This is going to be a very good player, but it seems unlikely that he'll develop into a Matthews / Eichel / MacKinnon level talent. We all missed on how translatable his skill set was and how NHL ready his game was.
I think he'll end up proving to be worthy of being picked 1OA, but I think he'll probably fall slightly below average vs other 1OA picks in the last 20 years.
Fox and Miller look great though (which pains me to say).
Seems like a problem developing forwards specifically.
Miller in the last 10 games has been not nearly as good as the Miller of the first 10.
his skating is getting better with each game and that last goal should make Ranger fans very excited... just nasty
