  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
Obviously, you lose Byram, Greenway and Tuch and replace with Crevier, and the team is worse than last year.

Now we see how Jarmo turns those picks into players I hope.

Any cap junkies out there care to give us an update on what we have to play with now if we give Benson 7.5 AAV at whatever term (to pick a number)?

Sad to see Tuch go. But I also understand not paying him $10.5M a year until he’s 38.

I was really hoping they could get him signed to something around
$9-9.5M x 8 but obviously that wasn’t realistic. The max I would’ve went was $9.6Mx8 because that would equal $11Mx7 in free agency and I figured he wouldn’t get more than that.
I’d love to know what Buffalo’s best offer to Tuch was.

Oh well.

I’m excited to see what Jarmo does with the extra cap space and picks he has now.

If benson+ Malenstyn cost $10M combined.
Kulich sent down, danforth is buried in A.

Thry will be 12/6/3 with $14M in space

They also have Krebs, ryan johnson, and Levi.

A short term mid-pair RD would be the primary target.

That's what second round picks/middling prospects are for. To unload contracts to rebuilding teams when the need arises. In the meantime, we just lost a key cog in that locker room and our best all around forward.
And we have cap space and assets to add a different "best forward" player.
