  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
Just inexcusable to not get Tuch signed. The one playoff year was fun, but this is going way backwards. Good luck finding a replacement and see the price it takes.
The people making the decision are incredibly incentivized to have him stay. For management and the coaching staff, their jobs are directly tied to predictable short term success, which an overpay of tuch would aid.

So letting him walk either says they have a plan to replace him, felt incredibly strongly against the long term implications of te-signing, or are just plain dumb and work are working contrary to their own best interests. While the third option is incredibly plausible to anyone who has followed sports for more than 10 minutes, I'd hope one of the first two scenarios.

It's a fair contract. We should have signed and kept Tuch. But Jarmo might have other targets in his sights.

He's been underpaid his whole career, good for him.

I dont see this as a big slight

Am I supposed to feel sorry for a guy about the deal he chose to sign and then be happy for him for the next one?

Those are him issues.

Mine is him parading around as a Buffalo guy and proving he isn’t.
