I roll my eyes when Adams says things about wanting players who want to be here because honestly that would mostly be guys desperate to break in and guys desperate to hang on…but damned if he didn’t find the one guy who plays that hard, produces and is ALL ABOUT IT to point too as what he meant and they needed.

Agreed, but the narrative that no one wants to play in Buffalo is tired. Same thing for 17 years with the Bills. Now it’s a destination spot

I cannot remember a player in the last decade who not only willingly came to this crater of a team, and just enamored so much fun and positivity. Ott, "Otter", is probably the close in his short lived run in Buffalo, but man oh man, Alex Tuch, you are drawing close to replacing Dahlin as my favorite Sabre.
Ott did help change the culture a bit. That team was tough as hell, but lacked talent. At least they were fun to watch even though they were mediocre.

Sharks fan coming with peace,

So happy for you guys getting Alex Tuch, he seems like a guy you can really rally around, leads by example and is a future captain. Krebs looks very good too, he will have an impact.

I don't want to even start on the effect he will have on this team when guys like Power, Peterka and Quinn are regulars.

if they were winning people would want to…but in year a million of being bad it’s mostly going to be young guys without a choice and veterans wanting to stay in the show. And Alex Tuch…who wants to be here more than anyone I’ve ever seen no matter how good they are. Love him.

they’ll be winning soon

One of the smartest acquisitions in awhile.
The age
the size
and he is a VERY strong 5v5 player which we need badly
His individual numbers were extremely strong
1) "individual scoring chance"
&
2) "individual high danger scoring chance"
with Vegas were one of their best

this kind of reminds me of Buchnevich to an extent in NYR, team under appreciated him but had amazing underlying numbers, and blew up once given a bigger role

I missed the game -- is he not hurt at all? He played fewer minutes than he usuallly does...I wonder if this is something that's going to be lingering for a while.

Sounded like they checked him out for concussion and perhaps other structural damage. Once the game got sloppy last night, there was no need to push him out there and his TOI was around where he was in the Columbus and Dallas games. He's down a couple minutes per game since about the middle of February and that stretch where he was getting 20 minutes a night to end January.

Before he even played for Buffalo I was excited. I'm far from an expert and don't understand what all the fancy charts mean, but I had the utmost confidence that Tuch could contribute much more than what we saw in Vegas if given the chance. I knew he had another gear that he'd never gotten to harness being buried down the Knights' lineup. He brings the brand and personality that this team has needed for so long. He is a natural leader and has quickly gained the respect of his teammates and the city. We can ponder whether or not they could have gotten more for Eichel, but the pieces they did acquire are top notch. Tuch has Western NY running through his veins and is right where he should be.
