Now Love/A-Rod need to buy majority ownership of the Wild, so that all three teams can split most of their home schedule between Target Center and Xcel Energy Center in the future, with the Wild and Wolves each playing a popular opponent at US Bank Stadium each year (given the amount of time it takes to set up a hockey rink, the Wild would have to play theirs after the Super Bowl has been played, likely the Wolves too). That means 20 home games at each venue for the Wild and Wolves, and 10 for the Lynx.
The Target Center is capable of hosting hockey. It once hosted NHL neutral site games and has played host to many amateur hockey games. This would be the most fair solution for people in both Minneapolis and St. Paul.
