On September 10, Frozen Royalty introduced you to Los Angeles Kings forward prospect Alex Iafallo, reporting that he started turning heads among the Kings scouting staff during his career at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.

Now, just three days before the 2017-18 National Hockey League season begins for the Kings, Iafallo has turned enough heads throughout training camp and in three pre-season games that he is expected to make the Kings opening night roster.

For the latest, including comments from Iafallo and head coach John Stevens, check out...

Underrated signings in Fantenberg and Iafallo. These two are more skilled than any of the Kings prospects.

Months ago, I was hyping Iafallo and Fantenberg too...was putting Fantenberg in lineup and saying Iafallo had a shot. But...thought the Gravel and Ladue were locks. It's great that Blake went out of the box and got thes two players. Both can play.
The fact that Quick was very impressed with Alex's shot, says a lot. How deceptive it was, accurate, or some such. The Kings can use some offense on the third line...and he's capable of moving up. So good!

I hope he makes it, I have a feeling toffoli will have a bad year, so kings need someone like this. He's a lot like Pearson

He got his new number today so he's going to be around for a while . He'll be wearing #19

They are going to be great pickups and will immediately freshen us up. The hockey media out east seem completely oblivious to who they are or that we even signed them.

They will work out far better than any trade would have and have cost nothing.

A nice piece to slot into the bottom 6 who brings some much needed speed into the lineup. Interested to see how he progresses as the season unfolds.

I think he may stick around in the top six. This kid looks more skilled than Brodz/Kempe. 51 Points 21 goals his senior year, that's really good production out of a NCAA player.
