Anyone who knows what NFL team I root for, you can imagine how over the moon I am over this.

:cry::cry::cry:

Serves ‘em f***ing right. But this is… god damn it.
What's a fair trade offer for Myles Garrett?

Honest question, as I can't remember a reigning DPoY ever being traded. He's a difference maker, and he's only 30, but I have no idea what an equitable offer would be.....

The thing is… there’s nothing a team could offer that would be fair or worthwhile for the Browns. And that’s not even factoring in the cap penalty they would be paying for dealing him.

I’ll say he goes for a first, a second and something else. Perhaps that second becomes a (say) 2027 first if there’s a bidding war.

But it’s either that or he sits… or he leaves in free agency. So the only play is to take the best offer available.

The Khalil Mack trade is a very similar comp. He was a few years younger, one year removed from dpoy and was a perennial all pro before and after the trade.

The Patriots retained Mayo's brother after stabbing Jerod in the back? This organization does some real stupid shit in recent years. Makes absolutely no sense even if the guy is decent at his job. They just don't know how to do a proper transition in just about anything. QB, coach, front office. Years of stupid decision making.

If Mayo's brother felt that the Pats stabbed his brother in the back, he wouldn't be staying with the organization.

Agree but every coaching move has been a no brainer but this one. Eliot Wolf sticking around aside. Vrabel played with Mayo at least so he might want to throw him a bone and it sounds like Jerod could be lawyering up and this might be part of keeping him from going nuclear like Flores.

He would if nobody else would hire him for the position he's in

It just doesn't make any sense to keep Mayo's brother.
