I'll never forget Yaz slumped up against the monster after Dents pop fly wall grazing homer...awful end of summer and season but man could that team mash the ball JimEd, Pudge, Lynn, Boomer, Yaz, Hobson, Evans, Rooster, Remdog...no Shadows at 8 tonight and no sweet Lou guessing right in right field...I like Sox chances tonight

What killed me was that HR was basically a high pop fly. If it had been a legit 400 foot shot leaving the stadium at 120 mph hit by Jackson I might have taken it better but to be defeated by a goddamn pop fly hit by Dent that barely cleared the Monster????? Gah. Talk about adding insult to injury!!

A replay of the game that made me a Yankee fan. Good times. Fingers crossed for the same outcome as 1978. >:-D <going back to my corner now>

That went an awful long way.

I was there in amazing seats on the first base side close to home plate, right in line with the homerun. The sound the crowd made when he hit is was a giant "whoosh," like we all took in a giant breath at the exact same moment because we couldn't believe it. He just murdered it. I never saw him lift his arms. I was staring at the ball in disbelief.
