Seems weird that the AHL is having preseason this year. They sure aren't going out of their way to announce it either.

and re: the chrome helmets. I wouldn't expect it at the AHL level, but couldn't a smart opposing player use the reflection to his advantage when tied up along the boards?

Judging by the fact that HSK came out for P3, and SJ sent out two players to speak with officials, im confident, but don't know it as fact.
