This iteration of the Panthers is going to be at an end in a week. I doubt they keep Bennett, and everyone else is getting up there in age at this point, especially Bob. They will remain competitive, but their Cup runs are over. Now, to be fair, they went to two Cup finals in a row and won one. That's pretty damn impressive.

I think the main concern is the shot discrepancy. You want to play more down in their end and make better use of the PPs.

This one feels good. We took a series lead & came out flat vs Ottawa for a few periods. I’m hoping they’ve learned that we can’t do that, or the panthers will eat us up for it.

Woll makes me a little nervous, but I think that’s because I’ve become so comfortable with Stolarz. Thought Patches, Domi, Willy, JT all had strong nights. McCann stepped up a bit today. Our D was strong. ….I didn’t feel overly nervous defending a lead? I feel weird saying that.

Max Pacioretty has been a beast in the playoffs. An excellent addition. Smart to give him the remainder of the regular season to get healthy. He has been a difference maker so far. Leafs need him to stay healthy.
