Yup! And loving it.

Funny thing is, the last time the Leafs were up 2-0 in a series (1987), I would have been watching just like I am now... that is almost 30 years ago. It's been a ride!

Edit: Almost 40 years... mother of Jesus!

I was working at the local Brewer's Retail, and being it was Northern Ontario, you were either a Leafs fan or a Habs fan.

Well, he was a Habs fan, so he scheduled me to close each night the Leafs played.

Otherwise he was a great guy.....

You know, lost in all the bitching about the big boys "not showing up"... Nylander and Marner both have more points in the playoffs than the entire Panthers roster. Matthews has the same number of points as Luostarinen and Lindell, and they're Florida's leading playoff scorers.

Small correction, we were up 2-0 in a series 2 weeks ago.

I think they specifically mean second round. We swept Ottawa in 2001, after all.

Also up 2-0 on the Islanders in 2002. Up 2-0 on the Blackhawks in 1995 before blowing it. Up 2-0 on the Blackhawks in 1994 but sealed the deal.

Almost as inportantly he is leading the physical play. Another seven hits tonight. As with other players he understands that a big playoff, especially Cup win; and his career will be extended with a well deserved 2-3 year contract.

He finished at 6 every night. He would give me updates and gloating on them the next day before leaving me to close with a roving assistant manager.

I believe its situational. Tied game and early = Pacioretty on 2nd line to get points. Late and with the lead = Pacioretty 3rd line because Holmberg is better defensively and Pacioretty is more fatigued.

But if they continue to play this well as a unit do they?

They win 5-3 instead of 4-3 tonight.

They are 6-2 right now.

I agree there will be a game he needs to win for us, but so far they have just needed him to do what he is doing

My biggest fear was him going over the line tonight. He plays with a lot of passion but it can get misguided easily.
