Post-Game Talk: AHHHHHHH!!!! Leafs win 2-0 Game 6

It’s been said all year that this team “is different.” They sure didn’t look it in Game 5 but they answered the call in Game 6.

Now what would truly support that claim is not only the first Game 7 win for this franchise in 21 years, but the first trip to the Conference Finals in 23 years.

Sunday will be an era defining moment.
It really won't be "era-defining". It's just another step in a what was always going to be the outcome this season. The leafs will win on Sunday because they are the better team, with the better coach, and the better goalie. For all of those same reasons, they will beat Carolina in the conference final.

Does every single one of your posts need to be some sort of prediction?

Humble? Humility is for losers. It's for respect in the handshake line. It's everything that was wrong with the previous iteration of this management and coaching staff.

Arrogance wins. It always has. In every aspect of life. Society likes to pretend it doesn't, but there are no humble winners.
Right...

Well, that's good for them; however, for a poster on a message board who supports a fantastically underachieving team, maybe rein it in a bit?

But I get it's probably like a gambling high trying to get these right.

Great to see Mathews get a goal. This is what they needed from him.

Hopefully this goal gives him confidence and he can get another one (or two) on Sunday.

Good bounce back game from Marner tonight after that shit Game Five he had.

Nylander didn't do much in this one. He was the best forward in Game Five but not much of a factor tonight. Hopefully he breaks his goal drought on Sunday.
