I hate that they think its ok for Buff to make those mistakes that directly end up as a goal because he got 2 assists. Alot of nights he makes those mistakes and gets 0 points. Is it still ok?

Trouba didn't have his best game, but I'm willing to forgive a rookie a few mistakes now and again. Wazny: I really dislike his schtick - it's not the negativity as he makes some good points, it's how he presents it. Annoying.

It seems to me he is consciously trying to bring down the level when a for the most part , good game occurs.

Like you said , he has points but if you want to find or dwell on negatives , well no one , no game will ever be perfect.

Trouba is having some glitches virtually in every game , but do they outweigh the positives , or prevent anyone from seeing there is a heck of lot more good going on than not?

Like saying 55's points are against the east... so ? They are in the NHL , sure we eventually want them against our division , but wow ... wouldn't it be more concerning if they were not coming at all?

These kids , and Kane is one of them are so so good , sure they need to improve and be more consistent , but isn't that happening? I sure see it.

Agreed so much. Because against the Wild, Blues, etc. After that mistake we are now fighting the rest of the game just to try and make it 1-1, in hopes they do not get another. We of all people have seen now how tough goals are against the Wild, Blues and so on. Mistakes like that in tight games just kill you.

Ah...my streak of being at Jets games and seeing losses ends at 5. I'm 3-6 now, thank you lads. Man crushing our rookies, yeah, they made some mistakes but generally wow.

I think Trouba is starting to get more confident and as such, is holding onto the puck more and maybe trying to do too much. Most of his mistakes come when he holds on too long and gets trapped by a couple opposing players. That speed in decision making will come, I'm not worried.

A big win over the lowly Panthers. And by lowly, I mean they have some awesome low ticket prices to their games you can't help to watch some down there!

Nice to see the Kane Scheifele Frolik line are giving the Little Ladd Wheeler line some competition.

I think he's more concerned with keeping up the "character" he plays on Rick Ralph's show than actual fair discussion. Illegal Curve guys are much better analysts. They're not homers but they don't make me feel depressed either

Boy is Scheifele going to be good! He has great vision and sees the ice so well. I thought his biggest weakness earlier in the season was that he wasn't winning puck battles along the boards and whenever he got hit he kinda stopped skating for a second or two thus killing his offense. Now not only he's winning the puck battles he is also initiating physical contact which is great to see (yes Scheifele is never going to be Milan Lucic when it comes to hitting, but the fact that he is atleast willing to lay hits every once in a while is great to see).

Scheifele line was great tonight, everytime they were on ice they were mostly spending time in the offensive zone and creating chances. Kane opens up so much ice for the other two through his blinding speed. People keep saying Kane is hard to play with and doesn't pass but he seems to be passing quite a lot now that he is playing with Scheifele and Frolik. It was also refreshing to see Kane being setup in the slot by Scheifele a few times during the game. I think this line is going to by dynamite going forward.

More angry Kane please!

That is why it would be a mistake to trade Kane, in my opinion. He is one of the few Jets that plays with an edge and he has speed and physical play that can really dominate an opponent. That line with Scheifele and Frolik is starting to look very impressive.

It was nice to see Bogo back. He also plays with an edge.

More angry Jets, please! :handclap:

Secondary scoring has been considerably better than it has been in previous years. It hasn't been enough to make a difference on the standings but no longer does the offense just stop if LLW starts to sputter or is shut down and no longer does Kane have to do everything himself.
