Francis, unbeknownst to Malone, signed him to be a sabateur and a ringer. Malone just thinks someone is finally giving him a chance. One day a misplaced email finds its way into Malone's hands and he trains hard over the course of the year and ends up scoring the game-tying goal (his first of the season) with 3 seconds left in Game 82 to guarantee them at least a point and...a spot outside the top 3 at the draft.

Then they lose in overtime.

I've found one for a team's historical record against a specific team, but nothing about a win/loss record in matinee games. I thought a remember seeing something like that out there somewhere on the net, but I'm at a loss as to where to find it.
