Prospect Info: Affiliates X: Cleveland Monsters and more (All Affiliate Talk Here)

Looks like Pinelli has been bumped up to the LDBB/TFW line. Good for him. I was liking him with Dumais and McKown, thought they meshed well, but they need to find something that works offensively.

Pierogis up 1-0 on a Roman Ahcan goal. Need a win here as we are 0-4-1 in our last 5 home games.

Unfortuneately have #14 for a ref. Guy loves to call penalties and really kills the game flow.

Looking back at the game, Pinelli took a big hit on the half wall in the defensive zone about halfway through the 1st. Went right to the bench and that was that. Hopefully not too bad and he doen't miss too much time. He was looking pretty good so far.

Here is the injury report for tonight's game. Pinelli not listed so hopefully good to go.

INJURY REPORT: Cleveland D Corson Ceulemans suffered an upper-body injury onJanuary 5th in Toronto, had subsequent surgery, and is now out long term. Clevelandwill also be without LW Owen Sillinger for the remainder of the season following alower-body injury suffered on February 11th vs. Rochester. On February 23rd vs.Belleville, Monsters D Ole Julian Bjorgvik-Holm sustained an upper-body injury andhas missed 15 games while LW Stefan Matteau has missed 13 straight games with anupper-body injury and RW Gavin Brindley has missed two straight games.

No Pinelli or Dumais tonight. Didn't see what happened to Dumais. Vogelhuber said Pinelli's injury isn't serious. Brindley is back in. Greaves in net again tonight.

Game over. 3-0. Monsters move to 4th, tied with Toronto, and have the tie breaker. One point behind Syracuse.

Greaves with 53 saves on 54 shots for the two games this weekend.

Need to keep it going.

I would rather Jet was starting in Columbus, but if not that, then at least we will have the Monsters to root for.

Not sure if Jet would make a difference. Too many games not scoring has crushed the Jackets. When you can't offset the other team's scoring and change the momentum, good goaltending won't help. Monsters went through a scoring drought earlier and had decent goaltending, and got similar results that the Jackets are getting now.

It sucks seeing the Jackets not getting the job done. You just have to hope the core guys are learning from this and realizing how much more they have to step up to take that next step.
