  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Too small for this level?
I think he is kind of where TFW was when he came up. We'll see if he will figure out how to be more effective. If he can, I think he may be a guy that can be called up here and there, not sure if he would stick though. He has some work to do.

He has speed, but it doesn't matter too much if you aren't producing. He does get knocked around a bit, needs to be stronger with and without the puck. He makes plays here and there, but really not enough to stand out.

He looked better earlier in the season, but as players figured him out, it doesn't feel to me that he has adjusted. All part of the learning process.

Unfortunate comparison because TFW was like a 14th round pick and Brindley was taken at the top of the 2nd round. That said, it's just his first pro year and only second since he was drafted. Nobody drafted after #13 in the first round of that draft has played more than 7 NHL games and none with an impact. Only six players from the 2023 draft have done anything yet.

No doubt it's still early. He could still finish strong this year, and build on what he has learned next season. Some guys just take a little bit.

I was looking at Brindley at the game and the above description sounds spot on. He looks fast at times (but is that only because of his smaller size?), and has some swagger, it just didn't seem to result in anything. I was hoping for more, guess we'll see next year then. He did a funny almost like a figure skating jump in the game, wish there was a replay lol.

LDBB looked bigger than his listed 6 ft height (or 6+¹).

Monsters lost 4-1 to Texas last night. Showed a little life, but not enough to win. Three game losing streak and just four points from falling out of a playoff spot. The team seems to have lost interest in playing.

Can’t even hide behind the “lost the best players” excuse. Sucks
