Brindley with an outstanding play to give himself a breakaway goal. Chips the puck past the defenseman to himself.

Who scored the first one?Brindley with an outstanding play to give himself a breakaway goal. Chips the puck past the defenseman to himself. 2-0 Monsters near the end of 2nd. Now on the PP.
Good to see Brindley get on the board.
Svozil. Puck deflected off a Toronto player. They needed a goal like that after the last game where they couldn't buy a goal.Who scored the first one?
Maybe they are listening to the Marlies commentator. I've never heard someone so boring.1-0 Marlies after one. Just 3 shots on goal for Cleveland. It would have been 2-0 if not for an outstanding defensive play by Brindley late in the period, knocking away the puck from a Toronto llayer with a wide open net.
Need to wake up.
No doubt. I was trying to rewind to see the hit but could only hear it. You can hear him hit the boards and the crowd react, but can't see it. Clifford is a chump. He was taking cheap shots last time Toronto was here.Maybe they are listening to the Marlies commentator. I've never heard someone so boring.
Hopefully Ceulemans is ok
It was a puck up the boards and Ceulemans turned around to collect it while Clifford saw what was happening so he was able to present his back and brace for impact. Toronto feed didn't want to show it much but they had the viewNo doubt. I was trying to rewind to see the hit but could only hear it. Luckily I can get the Monsters radio stream to listen to.
Nice goal to tie it from Brindley.
I'm guessing it was a clean hit as no penalty, and I am sure our announcer would have said something, but he never even brought up that there should have been one. Woke the Monsters up a bit
I don't think it was malicious but he did invite contact on a player not expecting it with a loose puck. Could have been interference but no call isn't a brutal call. Vogelhuber gave the ref a piece of his mind thoughI'm guessing it was a clean hit as no penalty, and I am sure our announcer would have said something, but he never even brought up that there should have been one. I missed the middle portion of that game but from what I saw it was one of those do all the things to lose but still find a way to win. Giving up 5 PPs and getting heavily outshot by a team whose goalie was at a .930SV% before tonight doesn't often end well. Good character win against a team they apparently ownBig win. Greaves solid again, 32 saves. He seems to be in a nice groove right now. Brindley, Butler, Grimaldi, and Gambrell with goals.
Laval comes into Cleveland for the weekend, hopefully can get some space between them with some wins.
Yeah. I think Greaves might have stolen that one. Not much offensively all game, but they made a few chances count. Overall I think the defense played well. Nice to see Bowie back, but not sure about how PTO's work. I think they have to make a decision at 25 games, and Bowie is right there. He may have signed already though and I might have missed it.I missed the middle portion of that game but from what I saw it was one of those do all the things to lose but still find a way to win.
