It's pretty clear how the play can move too quick for him at times.
Reminds me of how Kessel back-checks.

All these non calls are going to lead to dirty play. Refs should not dictate the play of a game but they need to set a tone. Allowing a high cross check to the head to slide will lead to the players taking matters into their own hands. NHL needs to figure this out.
