Some friends (Bruins fans...) from Qc went to B Town to attend the first 2 games. Yesterday night, they got to drink a cold one with John Lu, Dreger and Martin Biron.

And they got kicked of the bar (McGreevy's i think) trying to keep Francois Gagnon from getting a beating. The guy was s***faced!

It wouldn't be so bad, but .... I've got a young daughter and she's got gymnastics today @ 10 am .... arrrrrghhhhhh. And no, her mother won't take her.

You need to negotiate some more... I got my wife to take my daughters to their swimming practice even though it was my turn.

Vanek was so awful Game 1 that Therrien is completely justified in saying this if he is indeed in fine health.

I dont think Therrien says these comments if he knows Vanek is injured or hurting.

Vanek is at 100%

Totally agree. If there is one thing management and coaching staff have been adamant about, it's building a hard working, 'character team. The knock on Vanek has always been his inability to fully commit to the game. Hopefully he learns from Game 1 and shows why he is a Bruins killer.

Which is good... That means Vanek can actually give alot more to the team unlike Prust who's so banged up he'll just collapse and die.

This all makes me very very happy. (If we're making the right assumption, which I think we are, given Gary's logic.)

It means we haven't even played close to well (potential-wise). Turn on Vanek and this series is completely changed. I feel a win, and IF this is all true and Vanek does return to form, it (gm1 treatment of Vanek) will be another great decision (including putting Bourni back) from the guy who has inhabited Michel Therrien's body.
