I agree with Briere sitting. I think Briere with Bournival made sense but if Bournival is gonna sit then there isn't enough skill on Briere's line to help Briere do anything good. Bournival is fast and responsible defensively and a great forechecker. I'd like to see him with Plekanec.

Bournival-Plekanec-Gallagher would be a fast two way first line.

Make 3 skill lines and a real grinding line. I just don't like Prust playing with Plekanec. It's not working that well either.

However if Bournival plays with Plekanec, you're left with Moen, Weise and Prust for a 4th line and no one to play center really.

Which is exactly why you bring in White as well.
The classic double switch always seems to work in baseball

Ok, who you sit for White?

Moen/Prust are the high paid vets with status, but Weise has been huge in these playoffs so far. He's big, fast and has some offensive upside.

And White hasn't played in a while...

Tough choices.

Keep in mind, this is how their Wings series started. Wings eked out a win in Game 1 after a long tie. The key to keep this going is stopping them from pushing back. Every period they improve and intensity ramps up. Habs have to match the intensity instead of the even-keel approach.

The Habs won by always staying ahead 2-0 and then 3-2. If they had to play catch-up the game would have gotten away from them.

As game time approaches and Boston as hosts.
We call on our Legion our Old Forum Ghosts.
To lift up our Army our Habs to the fore.
Let's skin us some Bruins and Score Score Score.

Our team D needs to be more organized, finish our checks or not try at all, and use our speed, we should be fine.

We will be fine Boston likely to be incredibly tight.
Tons of positives pointing directly to Habs 2-0 series lead.

Easy when you can score, but very soon there will be a time when they don't allow any threatening shots at Rask and all he'll see are Gionta crest slap shots from the half boards.

Habs will have to play worse than they did in game 1 in order for that to happen. Boston has done well with their youthful Dmen, but their Dmen are not Chicago good from top-to-bottom in their own end. Krug, Bartkowski, and Miller can be beaten.

Lets hope the classless Bruins fans, and team , has given this team the inspiration it needs to win one with style.

Very interesting...
Boston played one of their best games against us in a long time.
They lost.
The Habs on the other hand except for one Goalie one line and a fortunate PP played like crap.
They may decide to try a more patient approach which to me plays in our favor.
They may also try to push as hard as they can which also may open them up.
I don't think they are that same team who could keep everything outside.
We will get our chances and if we get up again anything is possible.
The Bruins could end up being very tight. CJ says you don't get frustrated after losing game one.
Well you do... particularly in that fashion. If game two starts getting away the thermometer rises...

He just needs to refrain from being needlessly aggressive in his decision-making with regards to going for the big hit.

He is actually making a correct play on most of those.
He simply needs to front the player as opposed to trying that flying hip check.
Stops em dead in their tracks every time.

Therrien's forthcoming adjustments will be crucial for game 2. He must either bench or rearrage where last game's duds play so we don't replicate our "matchup losses" in that game. Our 1st(Vanek, Patches) and 4th(Briere, Vanek) had major losses in their matchups. Pleks' line a minor loss(Prust), while our 3rd won theirs.
