I still find it fascinating that in order to make Fox look better than he's been this season, we have to shit on Lindgren. Fox should look great regardless of who's he paired with considering his salary.

Per Scott Wheeler - "In 46 playoff games across 835 mins at 5-on-5, the Rangers have outscored the opposition 36-24 with Fox on the ice."

People seem to act like Fox was the only defenseman out there.

Fox is having a down year and deserves the criticism. It's not Lindgren's fault.

ON the flip side to me that all sounds like making excuses for Lindgren

IMO when every game you have to try to do it all, all over the ice, eventually you're gonna start slipping.

Fox can play better and should play better but he's been left in a situation with a partner that does nothing to help him but everyone thinks lindgren is just the tits for some reason

Fox is having a down year, along with every other Ranger.

But Lindgren is one of the worst players in the NHL and he’s playing first pair totally dragging Fox and the team down

So it's always someone else's fault? And I say that because I've used the same excuse for others so I'm not immune to this. But it's funny that we're willing to blame others when a player is not playing well.

Why are we blaming Lindgren for Fox's issues, but not Fox for Lindgren's?
Trocheck has had a tough season, but we don't say it's someone else's fault. Just him.
Mika has been pretty bad. Only his fault.
Is it someone's else fault that Artemi Panarin is having his worst statistical season as a Ranger?

I'm guilty of this too. I have said that Kreider's poor season is a by-product of Mika having a poor season. But really the fact is, the onus falls on Kreider.

This entire season has been shitty and I'm not going to make excuses for players, by placing the blame on others. Not anymore anyway.

I wonder if it possibly got dislocated? If that was the case it could be a short term injury. Probably best case scenario. I have been tough on Fox but he is a legit asset and I never want to see anyone injured.

I had to step out when he got injured and left the game last night.

What are talking about? Shoulder? Knee?
