Fox didn't take a short term deal now for the next 5 years and then go for the 8 figure contract to finish out his career. He will be 31 at the end of this deal. One year short of the 8 year Max. I bet my cousin Mika and Fox would come in at $18M. The dude owes me dinner. I will collect when the pandemic is fully over. Excellent deal for the Rangers. The cap is expected to be stuck until the summer of 2025.
