Lower points per 60 in his NHL career than Matt Rempe. 2 years older btw

Rempe deflected a puck off his ass once, and plays 17 seconds a game.

Sample size matters.

Edström is superior in every way which is why he's playing over Rempe and hasn't even been a healthy scratch once this season unlike Vesey, Rempe, Brodzinski and even Smith.

He was, he played C when he was a lot younger but was almost exclusively playing on the wings in Sweden in the couple seasons before he came over here.

I think he's coming along just fine.He skates really well for a guy his size, he's very solid in all 3 zones and he has some decent skills when the puck is on his stick.You could do a lot worse for a 4th liner

It would be great if we could develop and foster him to be a big PK guy. Imagine that wing span and his foot speed on the PK.

He doesn't have to be a 30 point 4th liner to be effective. If he played top PK rotation and 4th line grinder where the puck doesn't die on his stick than thats a really good player to have in your bottom 6.
