Forwards, except for Blais, have all been average or worse in this game.

Defencemen not quite as bad, that's about it. Kudryavtsev was playing well but then he put in a really weak effort along the boards to lead to Laval's fifth goal.

Terrible game tonight. I'm tuning out early.

And yes, Kuds was soft on the cxoverage on the 5-1 goal.

Don't look now, but Abby has dropped six straight.....even the Canucks farm team sucks right now.

I cut the young players some slack. But what's disappointing is all the veteran guys they brought in, lead by Kambeitz, Twarynski, Nate Smith and Blais, and they really aren't doing much.

Even Karlsson, Bains and Klimovich have gone ice-cold. I don't think the team was this bad at any point last season. Shaping up as a tough first season for Malhotra behind the bench.

Ah I see. You still haven't really answered my question. You said one might expect our goaltending to take a hit when our goalie coach got promoted. My response is that there's no history of this. The example I gave was when Cloutier and Melanson changed roles, Sanford replaced Melanson, Clark was brought in, Torenius was brought in replacing Sanford. Up to this point, the transition (as it applies to our AHL goalies) appears to have been smooth. Certainly there's a change between Cloutier/Clark and Melanson. So why do you expect our goaltending to take a hit when Torenius was promoted?

As for a change in goaltending style affecting our AHL goalies' play with Torenius in charge and Pogge working with our AHL goalies, I'll defer to others who actually know about goaltending. Maybe @mossey3535 can comment? In the past I think Mossey commented that Torenius isn't a big changes kind of guy so I'm interested in what changes have been implemented that have negatively affected the performance of our AHL goalies.
