Pettersson gets lots of PK duty. Kudryavtsev gets some but quite a bit less than Pettersson.
KK is going to be traded by the deadline, isn't he. (Yes, I know he's not a terrifically significant asset; he'll be part of a package.)

Lack of PP hurt them big time in this game.

Gald to see Kekkermaki come back after that shot to the head.

What a performance so far. Not a single chance on a long 5-on-3 PP, then they take three penalties (one PP goal against), and they have two shots on goal through 13 minutes. Team needs to get its act together.

That makes sense. If both can keep this up, the team may get to the point where they can reasonably bank on one of Kudryatsev or Pettersson to be ready for the NHL next training camp, which would open up their roster construction flexibility tremendously.
But do we think Pettersson or Kudryatsev will be markedly better defensively than Brannstrom to start next season? Because if not, it’s hard to imagine either will bat meaningful time with Tochett and Foote.

Trudeau picking up some points
Last couple of times Laval was in town the Abbotsford crowd booed that poor kid mercilessly :DD

I'd say they're better than Brannstrom defensively right now.

Of course you're setting the bar very, very low.

Kudryavtsev isn't really getting any power play time anymore. It's pretty much Wolanin now.

Wouters with the giveaway at the blueline and Jared Davidson beats Tolopilo.

4-1 Laval.
