Series Talk: [A1] Toronto Maple Leafs vs [WC1] Ottawa Senators

I went Leafs in 6 - but more importantly, this is my candidate to be the most entertaining series of the first round. Should be an absolute firecracker and I can’t wait to watch.

Winning the Atlantic was huge!
I have a hard time buying into any hype for the lower ranked seeds in the East given how pathetic the eastern conference was as a whole this year. Sure the west had the sharks and hawks but every other team finished above 500 and 1-14 the teams are overall better IMHO.
Not to mention the many advantages eastern teams have when it comes to travel.

Leafs experience and not having to play a Florida team should see them win.

lol the Sens have almost an identical record to the Leafs since December 1st and slightly better underlying numbers.

I do agree that the Leafs have an advantage when it comes to experience and that could play a role (inexperienced teams in the playoffs don’t typically go far), but it wouldn’t surprise me if goaltending decides this series either.
