Leafs take this in 5. Will face Tampa in round 2.
Winning the Atlantic was huge!
I have a hard time buying into any hype for the lower ranked seeds in the East given how pathetic the eastern conference was as a whole this year. Sure the west had the sharks and hawks but every other team finished above 500 and 1-14 the teams are overall better IMHO.
Not to mention the many advantages eastern teams have when it comes to travel.

Leafs experience and not having to play a Florida team should see them win.

lol the Sens have almost an identical record to the Leafs since December 1st and slightly better underlying numbers.

I do agree that the Leafs have an advantage when it comes to experience and that could play a role (inexperienced teams in the playoffs don’t typically go far), but it wouldn’t surprise me if goaltending decides this series either.

Love it

Have Neil and Tucker drop the puck for a few games

I still think Tkachuk is an amazing player, but he still doesn’t understand even trade offs and will go to box with like Steven Lorentz which Toronto does every day

Sens in 7. Leafs will look dominant in a couple games, putrid in a few others, Matthews does his usual "injured" disappearing act, and they choke away a game 7.

It's funny how things are perceived differently, "eye of the beholder" and all.

To me that was a hilarious play by Greig. Either it was pure excitement or he was f***ing with the leafs. I'm good with either.

Rielly reaction on the other hand was reckless and undisciplined.

I think it should be viewed hilariously by both sides given this series is confirmed now.

Series will be good.

Ottawa has the better goaltending and defense.
The Leafs have bigger names at forward but they can't outmuscle Tkachuk and company.
Got to hit them hard and watch them collapse.

The good news for Michael Andlauer is that by playing the Leafs in the playoffs they won't have to tarp over empty seats.

Going by the stats the leafs are better goalie wise

You mean the guy who is injured today?

With who and why would the leafs collapse at home when every single game is a home game?

This is literally the best match up the leafs could have gotten
