Seems posters were on Booch all night, all week, all year but here we are and he's shooting bombs and a beautiful winner. Meanwhile Makar was flat out nothing in this game squandering chances, shooting wide, flubbing basic plays. The AV;s D were all terrible. The Oilers didn't make half as many mistakes and hey were the tired team.
That said have to say Mackinnon was getting little help. Rantanen isn't as good as he thinks he is and Makar isn't being the same player he used to be.

Anybody tune into the AV's thread at 3-0? Good times. lol.
The fans in mile high looked ill. Even at 3-1 I think they could sense it happening. For a SC team the AV's sure drop some games where they have big leads and they deserved to lose tonight in spades. They sure had it coming. How do you blow a 3 goal lead at home against a team thats playing the B2B. Sure Bednar is asking the same. lol

That was the best a win has felt in a while.
I would of forgiven the team for dropping this one, a tough part of the schedule and a pretty taxing game the night before. To pull this one back after that start was very impressive.

Yeah Makar was ass tonight. resting on laurels? Booch getting solid shots off, challenging, dangerous, scores winning goal. Makar missing net or pad stuffing all night.
But Manson and Girard were lol all night. A whole other planet of awful. Manson looked like he was drunk.
Clearly Makar needs to be offside with the puck to produce effectively.

People yap about McDavid 'whining' and yet there went MacKinnon whining to the refs when he rightfully got a penalty for hooking.
I was wondering the same thing. He did not play the last 5 minutes I think.
