4 pages fantasizing about what the evil villains did to his rings...oh they were in the house the whole time. Whoops.
Mr. Magoo could have solved this one.

Bummer to get robbed but it happens to normal people all the time -- people who can't afford to fix/replace what was lost. Even beyond that, it's difficult to feel too too badly for him:

1) No one was hurt and he can easilly afford to replace anything he lost.
2) High profile athletes getting robbed is all over the news and has been for some time.
3) Has an alarm system, but not engaged.
4) Has a home safe, but not even closed.
5) Reports three SC rings stolen from safe only to turn out he forgot where they were to begin with.

Seems like maybe he's not the sharpest tool in the shed. Maybe this will be good for him in the long run.

if soft on crime how come prisons
Do you understand the difference between simply having prisons (every country does, even soft on crime countries), and having the most prisoners and incarcerating more people per capita than any other country in the world (US has around 4% of the worlds population, but has around 20% of the worlds population of people in prisons)? It has the highest per capita rates of incarceration in the world. The only nation we know to definitively have had higher rates/more people incarcerated was Stalinist Russia post WWII.

Actually Cuba and El Salvador have more per capita.

  • Haha
Reactions: Coaches Coroner
His rings were found inside his home so they were just misplaced

Honestly, those are the kind of things that should be kept in some sort of safe. I know the temptation to display them is great, but if you consider that stuff irreplaceable the risk of loss is so great.

I think I've heard of people with these kind of items having replicas made for display purposes, while keeping the real ones in a safety deposit box.

Locked.

Rings were found and this thread is turning off topic.
