I wish Kostin would have panned out. Having Kostin-Thomas-Kyrou as our forward core for the next 5 years would have been insane. Would have taken the torch from Schwartz-Schenn-Tarasenko

No not at all. I'm mainly going by ages and Draft years. Schwartz Schenn and Tarsenko (30-31) are all about one year apart the same way Kostin Kyrou Thomas (23-24) are about one year apart. Buch is right in the middle of those two groups at 27.

We are barely hanging on against a banged up VGK...smells like the COL game (they are banged up too).

We are ALMOST as good as the BEST teams when they are wounded. That tells us much.

Binnington had no chance on that goal after that brilliant pass. And Binnington made another terrific save on their next rush. The Blues are getting careless near the end of this period. Too bad. They could have carried a lead going into The 3rd.

Binny has been great.

1) that's why i said i hope Kostin panned out and never compared him to Buch.

And

2) I never said he wasn't. Again. I was going by draft years and ages. Buch is 3 years younger than one group and 3 years older than the other.
