The Blues have been playing better in this period than they did in The 1st. They're getting up the puck out of their zone faster, and up ice faster, and putting pressure on The Knights' defenders.

Kyrou has only one less goal than Taraenko in the past two years.

His first couple seasons Tarasenko actually had some deking and moves that he could throw in there, but with the accuracy and power on his wrist shot he just relied on that until the shoulder surgery. The wrist shot hasn't been the same since, he's forgotten how to stick handle and only does that "power move" around the d-man from the dot cutting inside, and has a garbage one-timer thats only worth a shit 3/10 attempts since he never developed one when he was younger because of the wrist shot.

I wish Kostin would have panned out. Having Kostin-Thomas-Kyrou as our forward core for the next 5 years would have been insane. Would have taken the torch from Schwartz-Schenn-Tarasenko

Binnington had no chance on that goal after that brilliant pass. And Binnington made another terrific save on their next rush. The Blues are getting careless near the end of this period. Too bad. They could have carried a lead going into The 3rd.
