Are the Panthers a slow skating team? Our skaters seem to be beating them quite easily on the chip ins. Surprising considering this is our 3rd game in 4 nights.

Well one goalie is a “starter” making 5.75MM AAV and the other is a backup making 1.9MM AAV. So yeah they’re going to be held to different standards. Thats not exclusive to just the goalie position.

The quality of the goal given up is independent of the goalie’s contract. You taint the opinion with unneeded bias in doing so.

Sharks young guys move their feet and move the puck well. The passing on Gambrell's goal is a good example.

This is a very tough one to judge because while a bad goal is a bad goal, shouldn't your higher paid starter have fewer of those than your cheaper backup? Expectations (based on salary and skill) have a lot to do with how people judge the results. You can call that bias. Or you can call them different expectations based on salary and skill.
