I try to stay pretty level headed but they played toe to toe with a top team and looked very good while doing it.

Sharks have been taking a bit of a slide lately, though.

Good to see the Jets get a few wins, at any rate. Even if a couple of stinkers against the Blackhawks had to come in between them.

Great game no doubt, but I'm not holding my breath for us being in the playoffs just yet. I want to see 20 more games with this kind of effort this season before I become more confident of that. History has taught me well.

But holy hell we have been doing well lately!

The scary part is that these games could be the anomaly of the season. The best part either way is to see the games that we are capable of. When the LLW line is going, they are one of the top lines in the league. The unfortunate part is they have not been going more than they were last year. Things are starting to pick up though. If they can keep their numbers going as they are now, we are in for GOOD things.

Another nice thing: we appear to have a 2nd and 3rd line that can score on occasion too, which definitely helps when the 1st isn't going.

Scheifele has been AWESOME ever since the Colorado game! Winning board battles, moves the puck safely out of the zone, and has shown some of his offense.

This kid is going to be just fine. I mean, fiiiiiinnnneeee.

Just like the other top tier teams we beat.

I think those games made it clear that we aren't there yet, but this game and the Detroit and the Nashville games showed that we don't have THAT far to go. We're an average team, but with great effort - and a BIT of roster-tinkering - we're not that far off from being a great team.

Great game by the Jets! Nice to see the Buff's monkey officially gone and nice to see Clitty get some points. Now, playing like they did, if we could get the power play going we for sure would have a chance to win every night. Thanks for all the vCash boys!

Thrilled with the 2 points. Its funny reading the SJ board and them saying they got robbed because there was no interference, and our board because there was no penalty .

We need to play NSH more often since it seems we win all the games afterwards :sarcasm:

Winning 2 back to back faceoffs against Joe Thornton had me really excited. Loved his moves tonight.

Oh and also

Wasn't able to watch the whole game, but great outcome! Is it too much to ask to put together an effort like that all the time?

Maybe Noel is secretly a genius - just keep shoving it down our throat that we have good goaltending, and our goalies will have to start backing him up on it. :sarcasm:

So last game Byfuglien scored his first goal of the season, only to have it later credited to Tangradi. Tonight Thorburn scores his first, only to have it later changed to Tangradi. The guy is a thief I tells ya! :sarcasm:

Scheifele had some wicked moves tonight!

I'm really impressed by Keaton Ellerby considering that he just got here he has fit in nicely.

I love Scheifele but in his interview on TSN Jets he pretty much mentioned every hockey cliche

Who was the third?

Dan Boyle

The only thing I'm ticked off at is Dan O'Halloran (#13) with one of worst zebra nights in awhile - called Ladd's phantom trip, called the goalie interference on Kane, missed the hold on Kane, called Bogo's phantom hold, called Wheeler's iffy trip on known diver Couture, then yelled at Wheeler "get to the f***ing box" when Wheels just looked at him.

^^^ This, oh yes, this!!! Just got back from the game... left my voice in the phonebooth. 2 Shark goals on undeserved powerplays because of that little hobbit.

But our boys overcame a 2-0 deficit in the first against one heckuva good team. Waytogo guys! :yo: :handclap:

I believe it was actually the assist on Buff's goal that went from Thorbs to Tanger.

How did the Peluso chant go?

Didn't hear it at all in section 104.

Now that was a pretty gritty comeback! I almost turned the game off the instant the sharks scored in OT. Turned to grab the remote and just as I went to push the button I heard "they're calling it no goal!" Gotta love Ladd. #clutch!
