I think she’s fine as a rinkside reporter and I’ve had discussions with plenty of people who agree. I’m not sure what you mean by “groups of people”. You can see people in this very thread who don’t think she’s bad.

Have you not seen the mains ? There's been the same discussions going on for years. When the job performance is so horrible and management doesn't do anything to change/fix it, of course people will talk about it.

i watch replays on YouTube and i got to mute her as soon as i hear her squeel for a goal. Also i forgot but i do watch some American games online. When shes on i switch feeds or close the game

Could there be some reason that she gets piled on and there is nary a mention of the men in broadcasting that suck at their job? You'd think that these paragons of evaluating broadcasting excellence would have a thing or two to say about someone else, no? Is everyone else great at the job, and she the only one bad at it? I find that hard to believe.

If broadcasting excellence is so important, where are all the other evaluations? If it is such an experience altering aspect of hockey watching, how can it be that only one person is bad at it?

Sexism exists. I'm sure that there are plenty of posters here that hate Hextall simply because she's a woman.

But to say there aren't threads and posts that bash male broadcasters is simply untrue.

Jack Edwards has a monthly one. Pierre had his own weekly topic when he was in role. More should have them as there are also dreadful commentators, however those are generally regional and rarely heard of by neutral fans.
