So she got relegated to only talking some of the time because people were taking to the streets about her and....people are still taking to the streets. Is this not an improvement for the people that hated her? I never listened to her in my life, but it seems more than a little unhealthy to still be mad after someone gets a reduced role.

It really do be interesting how people out themselves.

Like, outside of a Don Cherry trademark suit, male broadcasters don't get judged on how they look no matter how good or bad their PBP work is, unless it's extraordinary like Burke's hedgehog hairstyle.

For minorities it's rarely ever just how good or bad they are in their fields, always having to be judged additionally on what they look like or what they do outside of just the job they perform.

Leah isn't perfect but there are other broadcasters who are male and suck just as much in their own ways and get way less flack and have been on the air for so much longer, and definitely don't get shit on for extracurricular details such as how they look.

Anyone else wish they would do a broadcast with no play by play or announcers? I would like to just hear the player chatter without anyones else's commentary. I also prefer to analyze the game myself by thats another point.

You were replying to someone who said that it's mainly vocal HFBoard posters and angry twitter warriors who vehemently dislike her and you called anyone who doesn't dislike her a 'simp' and then added in the YouTube comment section as another source of "everyone" hating her.

If you think vocal tweeters, HFBoards people, and YouTube comment sections is 'literally everyone and everywhere' then you have a very disturbing view of the world.

The point of the person you were responding to is that outside of people who live for complaining on social media she really is generally not disliked.

This whole “wooosh” thing is turning into the new “literally” in terms of chronic misuse by a young generation.

Someone simply disagreeing with a point is not something going over someone’s head/“wooosh”.

Twitter, YouTube comment sections, and HF boards is not “literally” everyone and everywhere. Oh look, there’s that one.
