A crazy trade senario

It goes when he goes in a way that's not the case with any other Leaf, but how do keep handing the keys to the franchise to someone coming off such a juvenile stunt?

Tavares is the steadier hand and more of the respectable veteran, but truth be told he doesn't really seem to be a very inspirational guy from the way he is and the way the team behaves. He seems more like a good Hockey Canada soldier who has that sterling reputation, but meh.

Like this end-of-season presser outfit just says it all. WAY TOO CASUAL AND COMFY are these eplayers. Like what are you wearing dude? Put on a team hat or something ffs. Sadly the damage is done. I don't think it can be fixed. He's good as gone. Cause even if you brought in a hard ass he's used to getting his way now.

It’s easier for another team to make 1 guy a better offer when you don’t have 3 at 11 million.

I didn't buy the offer sheet rumors with Marner either. Dreger was the only one reporting it and Marner was the only one he was talking about getting offer sheets when there was other comparable players like Tkachuk, Point and Rantanen up for contracts as well. Even if another GM did throw up an offer sheet that was cheaper, there is no doubt in my mind that Marner wouldn't sign it anyways. He showed how greedy he was. If someone had offered a big contract for him, I would easily take the 4 1sts.
