Personally zero interest in Miller, plus I doubt he would wave to come to middle of Canada and small market.

Maybe that’s what he’s looking for…some peace and quiet. Plus he gets an opportunity to play for the Cup for the next few years. I know WPG would be nervous about the locker room concerns…I’m sure past experiences pushes them away from JT. Anyway, I think he’d be a great addition for the playoffs as 2C

Granlund and your choice of Ceci or Ferraro makes a ton of sense for both sides, although I'm not entirely convinced Granlund is a 2C on a contender, nor Ferraro a top-4D... anywhere.

Jets are hooped without Pionk, as hes their best RHD.......even if he's gone in UFA he is here for the ride. I can see the Jets moving Barlow and they will almost certainly move their 1st imho.

I can see Gourde getting two 2nd's or a 2nd and B prospect. No doubt he will draw some interest but At age 33, I still think he has gas l left but doubt he will be targeted if the price is a 1st.

Absolutely have interest in Pulock, but not Barzal

Pulock is an interesting one with term left (age 31-35 years). What would worry me is decline because I don't think skating is the strength to this game. However, I believe he remains a top 4D in the term left.

Top 4RD with somewhat of a fair contract when you look at the looming $100M cap. He will get a lot of phone calls.

Doubt the Habs will be major sellers this TDL. Depends if we stay in the hunt and I believe we will but just miss the playoffs. I know MSL and the players were not happy that we traded Monahan last year and this time around, our GM is probably going to let the team tell us if we are sellers near the TDL. If we slip, maybe we are.

East is interesting with how tight it is. That might mean less sellers for this TDL this year.

Yeah, I have no idea what we do. We do have lots of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks too. And our number of picks and draft power from the previous 5-8 drafts has been very high too. At some point, the Habs are not going to be able to sign all of these prospects with the roster limit.

I think other teams might call us offering someone with term and try to get one of our 1sts. We might be open to that depending on the player. I would say we have a 2C and top 4RD need but the top 4RD need is a bigger need.

He is worth a 3rd maybe.

He's worth a hell of a lot more than a 3rd. While I think a 1st is a slight overpay for him I have no doubt that there's a GM in the league who will pay that price. He's exactly what you want in a player if you're loading up at the deadline. He can play all 3 forward positions, up and down the lineup, is a great PKer and grinder and is a great leadership add as well, always gives his best effort, hasn't really started to slow down yet either. We might have to retain a bit for maximum value but Gourde at 50% is incredible value for the next couple of playoff runs.

Seattle as a whole f***ing suck but Gourde is still completely fine and I could easily see him performing well in the playoffs for another team, he's always been a pretty great playoff guy. He may not be the #2C for Winnipeg, and a 1st may not be something Chevy is willing to pay, but he's still a valuable asset. He's absolutely not just for spare parts or a 3rd alone.

He's probably 3rd or 4th best forward on SEA this year which isn't saying much but considering he's not getting a ton of opportunity that's still pretty good.

He's a competent center who would be a great add for a playoff run, I'm not saying he's who Winnipeg should target or if they should pay a 1st for him but he is an option that will cost less than most others and brings some stuff other targets won't like PK ability and leadership.

I understand that, but elite UFA rarely get to market without being signed. Has anyone heard rumours that they aren’t planning to resign him? I haven’t heard anything, they’re a good team so highly likely they sign him imo.
