Pool: 9th Annual C4G WJC Pool: Ongoing Updates

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Finns miss the QF every 4 years. It's been a pattern going since 2009 and the miss the QF year is upon us. I'm expecting that streak to be broken

If it makes you feel any better I imagine there's a very realistic chance of Alnefelt losing the crease too. Blomqvist should see time in the round robin, with the possibility to still take over.
 
And on the topic of starters, my guy Devon Levi has officially been given the spot barring a meltdown in the Russia pre-tournament game. Coach Tourigny said they still haven’t decided on the backup at this point.
 
I may need a replacement pick on Dach, but will wait to see if there's any update. Hopefully a positive update

I feel like Tomasino must be dealing with a nagging injury or something. There was no limit on how many guys you could dress for the warmup game so sitting him made no sense unless it’s for that reason. Would also clarify why he was in the regular lineup and suddenly got moved as an extra a couple days before the warmup game

That would have been my guess... however, it was mentioned during the broadcast that it was a mutual agreement between the teams to scratch one player apiece. Why I don’t know. The whole thing seems odd. :dunno:

Player numbers added to the rosters. I did them quickly, if there's anything wrong let me know.

Working the next 2 days(but not busy) so updates may been a little less frequent than normal, but they'll be ongoing.
 
I think we might set a record this year for most number of backup goalies picked. Looks like as a group we may only have 4 starters

Should've gotten 3 points from the Slovakia win but nooo the guy they ran with the past 2 years isn't good enough...

I should also have 3 points as Heinola got a assist

Thanks, they must added that assist later, it was only Nikkanen initially.
