Still not as impressive as Lou's 105 point franchise record IMO

I remember growing up when one of the Dougie teams set the franchise record with 99 points.

And the Leafs were in the West!? Okay.

There were no loser points back then but still, that’s good for one point more than the team everyone knows they’re gonna have to play.

Mitch not getting 100 is 100% on Matthews being such dead weight half the time.

And again tonight.

Yeah Matthews was a dud for about 60 of the games this year. Only in the last 10-15 games did he look like Matthews of last year.

Hope that was him saving it for the playoffs because Matthews won the Hart, Ted Lindsay etc yesterday but no one cares about that at this moment. Those are things you reflect about at the end of your career.

There were more ties back then. As teams often play ultra conservative in OT as they don’t want to lose a point.

Reactions: Teeder Keon
It's nice to see Oreilly just putting shots on net and creates the gwg. Meanwhile a few shifts later Marner is dipsy doodling and instead of putting the puck on net, shoots it intentionally wide looking for a low percentage slap pass on a well covered man. The puck is well wide and Rangers take it on the rush the other way. I hope he's not doing that %$&$ in the playoffs.

Big news is Keefe has tough decisions to make for game one. Knies is making a serious case for game one top 6, which pushes others players down and makes bottom six that much stronger. Hmmmmmmmm.

It's really unfortunate that the NHL robbed one of the NHL's biggest stars of his 100 point milestone.

111 point season. Pretty darn good.

Onto the playoffs.
