GDT: 9/30 - Preseason Game 4 - New York Rangers @ New York Islanders, 7pm EST, MSG (Game On! I think?)

Team is giving guys a chance to see if there are any guys that will step up. If guys are not giving a legit effort I suspect they will have trouble getting minutes. At least I hope so when the season starts. I do not want to be outworked as a team anymore.

When you root so hard for a guy to succeed, to help your team do well, and he slaps your pee pee enough with consistent mediocrity and zero noticable improvement, it gets ugly.

Still hope he scores a hatty next period though. Also hope that Margo Robbie wants me to reenact the Tom Cruise/ Rebecca DeMornay scene from Risky Business with her after the game.

I said the other day Daigle had some legit skills. He did not give a consistent effort. He did not have that hunger to excel. He did have skills. He also played with Yashin which did not hurt early in his career.

Hey, anyone who can’t afford a hotel can crash on my couch/floor. You’ll just have a lot of Loki and Henrik to deal with. 6-7 years ago I set up a 20 person group for a Stars/Oilers game (McDavid had a hattrick, his first I think) and we got to go down on the Stars bench after, get some pictures, etc. so I could set something up lol

Panarin is only there when he gets into the offensive and can slow down enough to be able to pull the puck back and pass on he forehand.

Watching him to try to pass on the rush in the neutral zone from his backhand is dentist drill level of annoying to me. It makes my eye twitch every time.

Reading the thread I know our guys are not playing well which in the preseason does not concern me that much. Rust does happen but tell me does Laf look like he is in good shape? Is he working hard? What do you think of his skating?

If I took a shot for ever good play Lafreniere has made in preseason, I wouldn't be drunk.
